Request data deletion
Under UK GDPR Article 17 you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. We will action confirmed requests within 30 days.
How to make a request
Send an email to info@beyondaword.com.au with the subject line DELETE ME. Tell us:
- The email address you used to sign up (if you have a Voxinly account).
- Your tenant ID (visible in your dashboard under Settings > Account), if known.
- Whether you also want chat transcripts and lead records on linked websites deleted.
We may ask one verification question to confirm we’re talking to the right person (for example, the date you signed up). This protects you against someone pretending to be you.
What gets deleted
- Your Voxinly account (Supabase Auth user record and credentials).
- Your Tenant row and all rows that cascade from it: conversations, lead records, knowledge-base entries, saved replies, customer profiles, analytics events.
- Your billing record (we keep an anonymised invoice copy only where UK tax law requires it — minimum six years — with personal identifiers stripped).
- Any backup snapshots are overwritten on a rolling 35-day cycle. Within 35 days of the deletion email we confirm that no further restorations of your data are possible.
If you’re a customer of a Voxinly tenant
If you chatted with a Voxinly-powered widget on someone else’s website (a tradesman, locksmith, plumber, etc.) you can either:
- Contact that business directly — they are the data controller for chats on their site.
- Email info@beyondaword.com.au with subject “DELETE ME (visitor)”. Include the website you used and a rough date/time. We’ll find the session and erase it.
Timeline and confirmation
- Day 0: we acknowledge receipt within one working day.
- Day 1–30: we verify your identity, action the deletion, and email you a written confirmation.
- Day 35: backup snapshots containing your data have rolled off.
