Put your Voxinly bot on a Shopify store.

Two routes — let us in and we'll do it (free), or paste a few lines into your theme yourself. Both are below.

Option A — have us do it for you (free)

You invite us as a staff member with the “Themes” permission. We log in, drop the snippet in, save, and email you when it’s live.

Find your Shopify admin

In a new browser tab, go to admin.shopify.com and pick your store. If you’ve only got one, it’ll go straight in.

Open Users and Permissions

  1. Click Settings in the bottom-left.
  2. Click Users and Permissions on the left menu.
  3. Click the green Add staff button up the top right.

Invite install@voxinly.com

  1. In the first name box type Voxinly; in the last name box type Install.
  2. In the email box, paste install@voxinly.com.
  3. Scroll down to the permissions list. Tick Themes — that’s the only one we need.
  4. Click the green Send invite button.

Option B — do it yourself

About five minutes. You’ll be editing your live theme, so make a copy first if you want to be cautious.

Grab your snippet

Sign in to your Voxinly dashboard, click Install, and copy the snippet at the top.

Edit your theme

  1. In the Shopify admin, click Online Store → Themes.
  2. Find your live theme (it’s the one at the top with a green “Live” badge). Click … → Edit code.
  3. Down the left column under Layout, click theme.liquid.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and find the line that says </body>.
  5. Paste your Voxinly snippet on a new line just above </body>.
  6. Click the Save button in the top-right.

Check it worked

Open your storefront in a new tab. The Voxinly chat bubble should appear in the bottom-right corner within a few seconds. Click it and say hello. If nothing shows, email install@voxinly.com and we’ll sort it.

What about my login details?

We don’t keep your password. We use it once to install your chatbot, then it’s gone from our system. Your login stays exactly as it was — nothing on your site changes, except a tiny bit of code we add to make the bot appear.
