Squarespace guide

Put your Voxinly bot on a Squarespace site.

Two routes — invite us as a contributor and we'll do it (free), or paste the snippet into Squarespace's Code Injection yourself.

Option A — have us do it for you (free)

Open Permissions

  1. Sign in at squarespace.com/login and open the website you want the bot on.
  2. On the left bar click Settings.
  3. Click Permissions.
  4. Click the black Invite Contributor button.

Invite install@voxinly.com

  1. In the first name box type Voxinly; in the last name box type Install.
  2. Paste install@voxinly.com in the email box.
  3. For permission level, choose Administrator.
  4. Click Invite.

Option B — do it yourself

About three minutes. Squarespace has a dedicated spot for this called Code Injection.

Open Code Injection

  1. On the left bar click Settings.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Click Code Injection.

Paste the snippet into the Footer box

You’ll see two big boxes: Header and Footer. We want the Footer one.

  1. Click inside the Footer box.
  2. Paste your Voxinly snippet.
  3. Scroll down and click Save in the top-right.

Check it worked

Open your website in a new tab. The chat bubble should pop up in the bottom-right within a few seconds. If not, drop a line to install@voxinly.com and we’ll have a look.

What about my login details?

We don’t keep your password. We use it once to install your chatbot, then it’s gone from our system. Your login stays exactly as it was — nothing on your site changes, except a tiny bit of code we add to make the bot appear.
