Your nephew built it. Or that agency. Or that bloke in 2019.

Step 1 — find them

1. Old invoices or emails. Search your inbox for “invoice”, “website”, or your domain name. Most web people have an email trail going back years.
2. The hosting / domain bill. Whoever pays or gets reminders for hosting usually has the dev’s contact details.
3. The footer of your site. Plenty of agencies put a tiny “Built by …” credit at the bottom of every page.
4. Family. If a relative did it, give them a ring. Probably easier than email.

Step 2 — send them this exact message

Copy and paste:

Hi, I've signed up for a chatbot tool called Voxinly. I need a tiny bit of code added to my website — about five minutes' work. I've sent the guide your way: https://voxinly.com/install-help Pick the section for whatever my site is built on (you'll know better than I will!) and follow the steps. There's also an option in there where you let Voxinly do it for you — that's fine too. Anything you need from me, just shout. Cheers,

Step 3 — what if they go quiet?

Happens. Two ways round it:

1. Let us in directly. Email install@voxinly.com with your website address and we’ll work out the platform and tell you what login we need. Usually we just need a temporary user added to your website — the guides above show how.
2. Try our finder. Paste your website address here — we’ll tell you what your site is on so you can follow the matching guide without asking anyone.

We don’t keep your password. We use it once to install your chatbot, then it’s gone from our system. Your login stays exactly as it was — nothing on your site changes, except a tiny bit of code we add to make the bot appear.
